As we enter the spring season of 2025, we’re so excited for all the amazing projects, events, and partnerships we have coming up! Spring is a time of renewal, and we’re ready to embrace it with fresh opportunities and impactful programs.

There’s so much happening that it’s impossible to fit it all into one newsletter. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with all our current events!

Where Your NAMIWalks Donations Go

Free mental health education classes, support groups, and advocacy services available for adults throughout Richland County, empowering individuals with the tools to thrive.

- Engaging mental health education and presentations designed specifically for parents, caregivers, and youth in Richland County. Equipping families with knowledge and support.

- Tailored community mental health presentations offered for organizations, schools, and groups, fostering awareness and understanding in the community.'

Program Spotlight: Ending the Silence

In just four years, NAMI Richland County’s Ending the Silence program has grown from reaching 4 schools in 2022 to 13 schools this year, providing vital mental health education to 2,123 students just this year! These presentations help break stigma, spark conversations, and connect young people with critical resources.

This growth wouldn’t be possible without supporters like you! Every donation to NAMIWalks directly funds programs like Ending the Silence, allowing us to expand our reach and impact. When you walk or donate, you’re making a difference.

In Our Own Voice Recap + Upcoming!

We had an incredible turnout at our IOOV presentation in January! Hearing real stories of recovery and resilience continues to inspire hope and change perceptions about mental health.

Mark your calendars! Our next IOOV event is happening on May 24th from 2–4 PM at The Connection’s Meeting Space. You won’t want to miss this powerful presentation!
