Green Bandana Project
A program for students that raises mental health awareness.
Learn about campus mental health resources
About the Project
NAMI-RC gives The Green Bandana program multiple times a year at The Ohio State University at Mansfield. At this training, students learn about mental health and suicide prevention resources and are given a green bandana to display, typically on their backpacks. The green bandana is then used for students on campus to identify their trained peers when they need support or resources.

Attend a Program
If you are an OSU Mansfield student, we encourage you to attend our next Green Bandana program! We meet a few times a year on campus and encourage any student or staff member to attend!
College can be a stressful time and students don't always know where they can go to get support. By attending this program and displaying your green bandana, you become a safe space for your peers to reach out for help when they need it, and you can make a big impact on someone's life.
Students get a Green Bandana after completing the program
