Free classes for individuals with a mental health condition and for the people who support them.

What is a NAMI class?

NAMI offers free education programs for individuals with mental health conditions and their family, friends, parents, and other loved ones. Classes explain mental health conditions, review treatment options, and more.

About the Classes

​NAMI Peer-to-Peer is for individuals with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. This class is taught by trained leaders with lived experience. This class meets once a week for 8 weeks.

​

NAMI Family-to-Family is for loved ones of individuals with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand mental health conditions and learn how to be there for their loved one while also caring for themselves. This class meets once a week for 8 weeks.

​

NAMI Basics is for caregivers of youth (ages 22 and under) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. This class teaches caregivers how to be there for their loved one. This class meets once a week for 6 weeks.​​

Join a Class

NAMI Peer-to-Peer and Family-to-Family classes meet once a week for 8 weeks.  Participants are required to attend at least 6 of the 8 sessions to receive their certificate of completion. â€‹NAMI Basics classes meet once a week for 6 weeks.​
