Perinatal Support Services

About Our Perinatal Support Services

NAMI’s Perinatal Support Services are designed to meet the critical mental health and wellbeing needs of mothers during pregnancy and postpartum.

With allocated funding, the program offers comprehensive support including navigation to mental health services, assistance with childcare, housing support, and transportation.

NAMI services aim to reduce barriers to care and promote stability for families. In addition, NAMI hosts a peer-led perinatal support group, Rooted in Motherhood, that provide a safe, welcoming space for mothers to connect, share experiences, and receive encouragement during this transformative period.

It's completely okay to ask for help when you're pregnant or adjusting to life with a new baby. This stage can be joyful, but also exhausting and overwhelming.

You’re not meant to do it all on your own. Support is there for you—and you deserve it.
